The challenge
Large, high-resolution images are exactly what makes a photography portfolio worth looking at — and exactly what makes websites slow.
The challenge was to showcase those images across a visually rich, animated layout while keeping load times fast. A slow portfolio loses visitors before they ever see the work.

Our approach
We kept the stack deliberately lightweight: hand-built HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with GSAP for animation. With no heavy framework to load, the browser's effort goes into the images.
Image delivery was optimised so visitors see sharp photographs without waiting for oversized files.
GSAP gave us smooth, controlled animation for the layout and transitions. A lightbox gallery lets visitors open each photograph full-size without leaving the page.
The site was designed and delivered in three weeks.
Key decisions
